The French Oven Bakery has openings for the following positions:
Experienced baker - demonstrated ability to perform all production duties, especially baking, with minimal supervision. Compensation for this position is based on experience.
Baker Apprentice - If no experience, we are willing to train. Applicant must be at least 18 years old and demonstrate self-initiative and desire to learn. Starting pay with NO experience is $18.00 hr. Evening shift while training is Sunday to Thursday, 4 pm to completion (usually 11 pm). Must be able to lift 50 lbs., work well in a fast-paced environment, and show reliability.
Bread packager - morning shift, 6 AM to 11 AM, Monday to Friday. Starting pay is $17 hr. Must be at least 18 years old, able to lift 30 lbs.
Must be able to stand and walk in a fast-paced environment for up to 6 hours.
Must have a current Municipality of Anchorage Food Worker Card.
We are a smoke- and drug-free facility.
