Selling a vintage, heavy-duty Cal-Hawk floor-standing drill press (Model CDP05B). This is a solid, heavy cast-iron machine made in Taiwan, built much tougher than the modern plastic tools sold in big-box stores today.

Mechanical:
The motor runs strong, smooth, and has plenty of power. Spindle and pulleys are in good shape, although one belt will eventually need to be replaced.

The Catch (Read Carefully):
The power switch is currently stuck in the "ON" position and will not turn the machine off. To shut it down, you have to unplug it from the wall. This is a very common issue with vintage switches (fused contacts) and is an easy fix if you know basic wiring or want to install a standard $15 safety paddle switch. Also, it is running at one speed because of the switch issue. Because of the this, I am pricing this low as a "mechanic's special" or restoration project. Perfect for someone who wants a high-capacity floor model drill press on a budget.
