We are seeking an experienced Tree Climber to join our team. Our office is located in Amityville, New York, and we service residential and commercial properties throughout Long Island.
The ideal candidate must be experienced in safely climbing, cutting, and removing trees and be comfortable working at various heights.
Responsibilities:
● Climb trees safely using appropriate climbing equipment and techniques
● Cut and remove trees and large limbs
● Perform tree takedowns and removals
● Safely lower and remove branches and tree sections
● Assist with cleanup and removal of trees, limbs, and debris
● Properly use and maintain chainsaws, ropes, climbing gear, and related equipment
● Follow all company and job-site safety procedures
● Work effectively as part of a tree-removal crew
Qualifications:
● Prior professional tree-climbing experience required
● Experience with tree removal and cutting
● Comfortable working at significant heights
● Knowledge of proper climbing, rigging, and tree-removal tech
