Duplex Steel Alloy 329 Round Bar is machined and fabricated into shafts, fasteners and structural components for service in chloride and acidic media where austenitic bars corrode faster. As one of the original duplex grades, its higher chromium content gives strong general and pitting corrosion resistance, historically used in pulp & paper, chemical processing and marine equipment.
