Works with Retro Windows PCs
Perfect for Windows 98, 2000, ME, and XP systems that support classic serial DB15 gameport controllers. Great for sports, fighting, and arcade‑style games from the late‑90s and early‑2000s.
Works with Modern Games (Using Free Mapping Utilities)
Even though this is a classic controller, it is far from obsolete for newer titles. While it is natively built for older DirectInput games, you can easily use it with modern PC games—including Xbox-for-PC and Game Pass releases—by pairing it with a free mapping utility like X360CE, XOutput, or WoJ XInput Emulator. These simple tools instantly translate the controller's inputs, allowing this vintage gamepad to function just like a standard Xbox-style controller in today's modern games.
Note: DB15‑to‑USB adapters are widely available elsewhere for $5–$10.
Compatibility with Classic Emulators (ZSNES & ePSXe)
You can easily use this gamepad to recreate an authentic retro console experience by mapping its D-pad, dual analog sticks, and face buttons to classic software emulators like ZSNES (for Super Nintendo games) or ePSXe (for original PlayStation titles). Because the controller relies on native DirectInput, it maps seamlessly into the configuration menus of these older emulation programs, allowing you to assign physical buttons and enjoy retro games just like you did back in the day.
