This limited edition collectible is Krypto Superdog action figure, given during the Supergirl Ultimate Meal movie promotion, distributed in June 2026.
Krypto is depicted with an ear out listening for his master's call to help at a moment's beckon. He is wearing a golden Super collar and hanging from a nylon cord with a golden Supergirl logo bag clip.
Krypto Superdog
Krypto is an alien dog from the planet Krypton who does not belong to a standard Earth breed, though he is traditionally drawn as a generic white dog resembling a Labrador Retriever, white shepherd, or terrier. In most classic comics and animation, Krypto looks like a sleek, short-haired white dog similar to a Labrador. In the DC Universe movie Superman, Krypto is depicted as a scruffy terrier mutt with floppy ears and messy white fur.
In the original DC Comics, Krypto traditionally belongs to Superman (acting as a loyal companion to a young Clark Kent). Supergirl’s classic pet was actually a superpowered cat named Streaky. However, in James Gunn's DC Universe (DCU), Krypto is officially Supergirl's dog. In the films, she leaves Krypto with her cousin Clark (Superman) to watch over, and later reclaims Krypto Superdog.
In James Gunn's Superman film, Krypto saves Superman three times. First by rescuing a heavily injured, bloodied Superman in a frozen tundra by grabbing his cape and dragging him back to the Fortress of Solitude for healing. A second time in The Phantom Zone where Krypto risks his life to hold off dangerous enemies so Superman can escape. And a third time in the White House Raid when Krypto joins the rescue team to break into the White House during the "Public Enemies" comic storyline.
In Craig Gillespie's Supergirl film, Supergirl saves Krypto's life. In the story, Krypto is poisoned by the villain Krem, giving Supergirl (Kara Zor-El) a strict three-day limit to track down an antidote across the galaxy. Krypto is shot with a poisoned dart by space pirates/bounty hunters, leaving him paralyzed and dying slowly. Kara embarks on an intergalactic journey with Ruthye to hunt down Krem and secure the medicine needed to save her dog. Kara succeeds in her mission, gets the antidote just in time, and cures Krypto.
