For Retro Tech / Vintage PC Hobbyists:
This is a clean, vintage Toshiba PCX2200 DOCSIS 1.1 Cable Modem kit from the early 2000s era.
PLEASE NOTE:
This is a legacy networking device. It is NOT meant for modern 2026 residential high-speed internet plans (Cox, Comcast, etc. require modern DOCSIS 3.1 hardware now).
Instead, this is a highly sought-after piece of hardware for retro gaming labs, vintage LAN setups, or period-accurate OS builds (Windows 95, 98, Me, 2000, XP, or classic Mac OS).
Why This Particular Kit Rules for Retro Builds:
- Dual Mode Connections: Features both standard 10BASE-T Ethernet AND a Legacy USB Type-B device port. Perfect for hooking up old PCs that don't have an Ethernet card installed yet.
- Built-in Hardware DHCP Server: Can automatically hand out IP addresses for up to 16 legacy computers natively—excellent for a retro basement LAN party or vintage lab networking without a separate modern router.
- Classic Aesthetic: Beautiful early-2000s industrial design with the iconic bright front-panel diagnostic status LEDs.
What is Included in this Bundle
- 1x Toshiba PCX2200 Cable Modem Unit
- 1x Original AC Power Supply Adapter
- 1x Ethernet Patch Cable
- 1x High-grade Coax Y-Splitter + 2x Coax Patch Cables (Bonus hardware!)

Great piece of untouched vintage tech history for the price of a coffee.
