According to The Hoarding of Animals Research Consortium (HARC) animal hoarding has four main signs:
1. The inability to offer the necessary standards for sanitation, food, water, and medical care and space for animals.
2. Not understanding how the situation will affect the animals and the humans that reside in the home.
3. Although the dwelling is falling apart structurally and is not a healthy environment, the resident continues to collect animals.
4. Avoiding the fact that there is a serious issue; ignoring what friends and family members have said.
Animal waste and dander can be unsafe when not properly contained and regularly cleaned. Air particles can seep into your belongings and the food you consume causing harm to your and your animals health. We can rid your home of all traces leaving it clean and in a safe living situation.

These individuals are not trying to be inhumane to these animals, they just simply can’t keep up with the workload that caring for a large and growing number of animals requires. 123Hoarding has cleaned hundreds of homes affected with animal hoarding including cats, dogs, birds, reptiles, and even a tiger hoarding case! Dead animals, animal waste, nesting materials from rodents and high ammonia levels than most common findings within these homes. Their urine saturates everything in the home leaving most of the contents unusable. These animal hoarding cases need thorough attention and services must be performed by a company with the knowledge and equipment to properly remediate these homes. 123Hoarding Has OSHA Certified Technicians.

GARBAGE HOARDING
Garbage hoarding cleanup depends on the severity of the hoarding situation. Garbage that is already placed in bags can typically be removed and taken to a local disposal facility with little difficulty. When loose garbage is piled throughout the home the hoarding cleanup process can take a lot of time to make sure what is being disposed of is actually garbage. 123Hoarding has recovered jewelry, cash and other valuable's mixed in with the trash. A deep cleaning after the removal of the trash will be necessary in these types of hoarding situations to make the home a healthy and safe environment once again. 123 Hoarding can provide not only the hoarder clean out service but the cleaning process as well.
ANIMAL HOARDING
Animal hoarding cleanup is usually the most difficult type of hoarder cleanup. Because animals are living creatures, great care has to be taken in how the animals are removed from the home and where they are relocated during the cleanup process. There is always an emotional attachment with this type of hoarding disorder that can create great anxiety, stress and emotional trauma for the hoarder. Once the animals have been removed from the home, sanitation is imperative. It will likely take an extensive amount of time to clean out, sanitize and fully clean the home to get it back into a livable and safe situation. 123Hoarding loves animals and understands how difficult this is for the hoarder. We will not judge and treat the situation with Caring and Kindness for the hoarder and their pets.
PAPER HOARDING
Because of its nature, it is possible in the cleanup of paper hoarding to recycle a majority of the items found. As with any situation, a careful inventory will need to be taken to verify that all papers are disposable. Sometimes other paper items such as wills and money can make their way into the large amount of paper, books, magazines, mail and other types of paper products. Depending on the situation, there may or may not be a need for deep cleaning once things are removed.
SHOPPING, COLLECTER HOARDING
Cleaning a home with this type of hoarder could be the most time-consuming. There are a few options to consider when determining this type of hoarder cleanup process. 123 Hoarding has seen hoarders with over thirty thousand dollars worth of new consumer goods. These items could be donated to local charities or thrift stores. In some cases, families or friends could ask to return or resell them if possible. A careful inventory and evaluation process should be followed. 123hoarding can help with online sales and other options to sell your items.
