Object Information
• Artist & Tribe: Signed Iona Navajo on the smooth, slip-cast ceramic base.
• Style: Features an intricate matte polychrome geometric band showcasing traditional bold Southwestern patterns, including migration lines and stylized mountain or terrace motifs. The color palette incorporates a deep slate-gray upper shoulder area, an orange-tan middle band, and a clean white bottom slip finish, tied together with crisp black hand-painted outlines.
• Form: Miniature wide-mouth seed pot or small bowl measuring 2 inches tall.
• Production Method: Produced as a commercial slip-cast piece on a smooth mold for the regional souvenir trade rather than being a traditional hand-coiled, outdoor-fired vessel
