This rim was made for tubeless. It currently has a thick thorn proof tube in it as it was relegated to a backup bike and not used enough to keep the stan's sealant dispersed to keep the tire sealed to the rim.

The wheel is true and heavy duty with thick spokes but lightweight as well. The bearings are smooth. Some scratches/scrapes on a few of the spokes but the wheel spins true.

The tire is worn but the thornproof presta tube is new ($15).

This thing has been bulletproof but I am getting older and don't ride off-road hardly at all.

It seems overkill for a grocery getter.
