We are hiring experienced Electrical Firestopping Installers for a large-scale data center project in Santa Teresa, NM.
This position involves installing firestop materials to seal electrical penetrations through fire-rated walls and floors. Candidates must have previous firestopping installation experience.
**WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:**
Install firestop materials around electrical conduit, cables, cable trays, busways, and outlet boxes. Apply firestop sealants, putty pads, blocks, wraps, and sleeves according to approved installation requirements. Inspect completed work, document installations, and make corrections as needed to meet inspection standards.
**JOB REQUIREMENTS:**
- Previous firestopping installation experience required.
- Must be comfortable working on scissor lifts and ladders for most of the workday.
- Approximately 90% of the work will be performed at heights.
- Ability to follow construction drawings and installation instructions.
- Must have basic hand tools and a valid driver's license.
- OSHA 10 required.
**TRAINING PROVIDED!**
Manufacturer training and certifications for firestopping installation will be provided.
