The Vehicle Maintenance Place, 1425 San Mateo Blvd SE, Albuquerque, NM 87108 - We are a full-service maintenance and repair facility with a steady customer base. We primarily work on 2012 and newer, Asian and American cars and light trucks. We are looking for skilled General Automotive Technician that is passionate about working on cars and light trucks with a desire to take it to the next level and wants to learn more.
Job duties:
Maintenance services: oil changes, fluid changes, battery replacements, etc.
Brake services
Tire rotations and balancing
Alignments
Suspension repairs
Vehicle inspections
Requirements:
For this position, candidates need to have minimum 2 years of recent experience with American and Asian Vehicles working in automotive shop or dealership.

Have valid NM driver's license
- Must have good driving record
Have basic tools and tool storage to perform the above items
- We provide all specialty tools and equipment
Be ASE certified or become certified (within 90 days of hire for G1, A4, A5)
- We assist with study material and testing fees
- Pay increases for every certification
Willing to become a Certified Emissions Inspector
- We assist with training and cost of certification
Good organizational skills, ability and willingness to advance for additional pay
Caring attitude to assist in taking care of our customers
Maintain clean and organized work area
Able to work Monday-Friday 8am-5pm - No weekends!
Starting pay: $25/hourly without certifications. This is not flat rate, no sales pressures, no commission quotas
