The Rock at Noonday is seeking a dependable part-time driver to pick up food donations from local grocery stores, restaurants, and community partners.
Job Title:
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–12:30 PM (hours may vary as needed)
Responsibilities:
• Pick up and transport food donations using The Rock's vehicle.
• Maintain positive, professional relationships with donors.
• Load, unload, sort, date, rotate, and properly store donated food.
• Follow food safety guidelines and dispose of unacceptable or expired items.
• Communicate with kitchen staff regarding incoming donations.
• Complete donation logs and required documentation.
• Keep the vehicle clean and report any mechanical concerns.
• Break down boxes and assist with keeping donation areas organized.
• Cover other driving shifts as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
• Valid driver's license and safe driving record.
• Dependable and punctual.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Appropriate work attire required.
• Must follow The Rock at Noonday's drug- and alcohol-free workplace policy.
