POSITION OVERVIEW
CTS Management is seeking reliable, professional drivers for local airport transportation and long-distance healthcare worker transportation throughout New York.
Drivers transport healthcare professionals between Albany International Airport, local hotels, and assigned healthcare facilities.
This opportunity is ideal for dependable drivers with flexible availability who are interested in accepting scheduled transportation assignments using their own vehicles.
TRANSPORTATION ROUTES
Albany Airport & Local Transportation
- Airport pickups and drop-offs
- Hotel transportation
- Transportation to assigned healthcare facilities
- Variable scheduling based on flight arrivals and transportation needs
- On-call availability requested, with advance notice whenever possible
Long-Distance Transportation
Common destinations include:
Glens Falls, Queensbury, Granville, Argyle, Elizabethtown, Cooperstown, New Paltz, etc.
Most assignments involve long-distance transportation, with driving times varying by destination.
Long-distance departures are generally scheduled for the morning following a healthcare worker's arrival, with pickups typically between 6:00 AM and 7:00 AM.
Drivers receive assignment details before confirming availability.
COMPENSATION & PAYMENT
$60–$240+ per completed assignment
Trip rates generally work out to approximately $30–$40 per hour of total round-trip driving time, including the driver's return trip.
Important compensation details:
- This is a per-trip contract arrangement, not an hourly wage.
- Total compensation is confirmed before each assignment is accepted.
- Drivers may accept or decline offered assignments.
- The hourly equivalent is an estimate based on driving time, not guaranteed hourly earnings.
- Rates are gross compensation before fuel, tolls, parking, insurance, vehicle maintenance, taxes, and other operating expenses.
- Drivers are responsible for their own operating expenses.
- Payment is issued according to contractual terms, generally in 2–3-week intervals depending on the timing of the first completed assignment.
- Assignment frequency and total earnings are not guaranteed.
SCHEDULE & FLEXIBILITY
- Assignments primarily Monday through Friday
- Weekend opportunities are occasional
- Early morning long-distance departures
- Variable airport transportation schedules
- Flexible, on-call availability preferred
- Advance notice provided whenever possible
Drivers are not required to accept every offered assignment.
DRIVER REQUIREMENTS
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable, well-maintained vehicle
- Seating capacity for at least 4 passengers
- Full-coverage auto insurance
- Smartphone with GPS/navigation capabilities
- Dependable communication and punctuality
- Comfortable with long-distance driving
- Flexible availability for early morning and airport assignments
- Must live approximately 5–20 minutes from Albany International Airport or the surrounding service area
