Solid wood chairs stained dark brown and lacquered. Seat is turquoise (blue) and back rest has 3 colors: pink blue and brown in a pattern of tv screens reminiscent of the 'Jetsons'. Great accent chairs and conversation pieces. They do need some touch ups: light sanding and a carefully applied coat of varnish. No need to remove the cushions.
