Position Overview
We are seeking reliable, motivated Independent Delivery Drivers (1099) to join our growing last-mile delivery operations. In this role, you will use your own reliable vehicle to transport and deliver packages safely and efficiently to residential and commercial locations by the appropriate time-deadline.
Whether you are looking for a high-volume full-time route or a flexible part-time 1 or 2 days to supplement your income, we have routes available to fit your schedule.
Route Details
Daily Start Time: All routes dispatch and load beginning at 8:00 AM daily at our Akron warehouse. All routes are loaded and out by 10:30 AM.
Route Volume: Routes are highly scalable, ranging from 30 to 150+ stops per route depending on your vehicle capacity and availability.
Service Area: Local delivery routes throughout Summit and Portage Counties and surrounding local areas. Keep your miles efficient with concentrated routes!

Local Routes: Dispatched out of Akron daily so you stay close to home.
Travel Team: Want to earn even more and are willing to travel. Team slots are available for our travel team after training. Travel teams go to other cities with warehouses in need of additional drivers to help cover routes for various reasons. Travel Teams are paid a per diem, in addition to stop pay and expenses are covered while on assignment.
Requirements
Vehicle: Must provide your own reliable insured vehicle (Cargo vans, sprinter vans, large SUVs, or fuel-efficient reliable cars depending on route size preference).
Classification: Must be comfortable working as a 1099 Independent Contractor.
Driver's License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Smart Device: Must own a smartphone with a reliable data plan for GPS navigation and delivery tracking apps.
Physical Ability: Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry packages of varying sizes and weights. Ability to work in various weather conditions, this is northeast Ohio afterall.
Professionalism: Strong time-management skills, reliability, and a customer-first attitude.
Patience: Please do not expect an immediate response. I am a real human, with a busy schedule. If I don't reply within your expected timeframe, it doesn't mean I won't be. We usually get a few hundred applications each time we open up for new drivers and it takes a while to sort through the replies.
