Four bookcase sections with shelves are included. They can be used together to make a large floor to ceiling bookcase, or the four sections can be used separately, or in any combination. Altogether, there are 18 shelves.
The bookcase is already disassembled and bundled with string for easy transport. It is very simple to assemble (instruction manual included) and is adjustable in terms of where the shelves can be positioned. If used as one large floor to ceiling bookcase, two ceiling stabilizing boards with screws are included for earthquake safety.
