2000 Land Rover Discovery 2 - $8,000

PLEASE NOTE: The vehicle is currently in storage in the Atlanta area. I live in Europe and am unable to fly back for you to kick the tires (that are basically brand new). If you’re truly interested in this vehicle we can make arrangements for you to purchase it.
The LR is and has been on jacks since 2020 and it was driven in and out of the driveway in 2023. It started right up.
This LR was purchased from a LR mechanic in 2018. Since then it's received the following as preventative maintenance:
- New Radiator
- Low temp thermostat (so it kicks on and starts cooling faster)
- New front drive shaft
- Transmission flush and maintenance (Atlantic British kit)
- Joints greased
- Ultra-gauge installed (this thing is awesome and shows you all your temp and engine info)
- New tires (largest that will fit on stock suspension, don't have dimensions at the moment)
- Minor cosmetic repairs
Runs and drives great... and cool!
Other things to note:
- Paint is in great shape
- Air suspension has been replaced with coil springs
- Headliner is perfect
- Tint on windows is good
- Comes with new water pump (I thought I might need it so I just got it in case but current pump is good)
- Heated seats work
- Lightning cable adapter directly wired into stereo system (stock radio/tape cassette). You could swap for your fancy new USB-C cable
- CD changer under passenger seat (bypassed for iPhone integration)
- Interior is also in great shape (see below for negatives)
- Tow hitch (I don't think I ever used it though, so not sure about lights but it does have connector)
- Mileage is around 180k or 200k if I remember correctly.
- Comes with notebook containing gas/mileage and maintenance history
- New battery purchased in 2023 and disconnected for storage.
The bad:
- Driver's side passenger door has damage from parking post or something (it was like that when I got it.)
- One sunroof works and the other is intermittent (I never used them)
- Inside drivers door fabric is worn
- Drivers seat is a bit worn and has split seam but no foam exposed or anything. If you're sitting in it you won't notice
- Steering wheel shows signs of wear
- Rear center seatbelt sticks
Again, It's currently in storage on jacks. I don’t want to sell it but it does me no good sitting in storage on another continent.
