2001 Jayco Eagle 285 BHS fifth wheel, bunkhouse. One owner, used fewer than five times. Stored indoors for over twenty years, moved outside about four months ago. No sun fade, no cracked seals, no leaks — roof and undercarriage are clean.
White aluminum skin with original Eagle graphics, tandem axles, rear ladder, spare tire, Leland pin box rated 13,000 GVWR. Washington title, RVIA certified. Passed WA L&I inspection in 2001. Passed a full inspection this summer — everything came back in good working condition.
Layout: queen bed up front with basic mattress, bunks in the rear, dinette. One slide, full kitchen with appliances, bathroom. The original sofa was removed years ago because it was uncomfortable — replacement seating was planned but never installed, so that’s on you to finish. Tires are original from storage and will need replacing soon, though the wheels and brakes are solid.
This is a rare find for a 25-year-old trailer. Climate-controlled storage for most of its life means the age shows in years, not weather or miles. You’re buying a sound shell with working systems and a clear inspection on file.
