An honest unrestored stock 1978 Chevy Nova Hatchback. A rare special order with the following: *Triple Black *4 Spd manual transmission *V8 engine *hatchback. Edelbrock carb. Less than a dozen estimated with this build sheet. I'm told during my parents 45 years of ownership they never came across another. It has the awesome Chevy V8 rumble coming from the new dual exhaust. You can hear it coming blocks away. Powerful and super aggressive. It's turnkey ready, and 100 percent street legal. Drive as is with the original patina or restore to show quality. History: Parents car since new, both passed within a year. I inherited the car and commenced the following work: New Edelbrock carb, tune-up, lines, new gas tank, compete taillight assembly $2560 (with receipt October 2026). Previous work 2023-2024: Engine rebuild, complete new exhaust, full brake work new set of brakes shoes, Calibers, rotors, drums. The body is original shows patina, no bondo, fillers or bodywork. Interior shows exceptional well. All original with black leather seats, black carpet, black headliner, and door panels beautiful dash ( not cracked). Nice working interior components nothing missing. Rare rear hatch area exceptional clean. Drivers bolster shows wear, seat itself shows well, back seats look unused. All glass shows well no cracks, chrome in great shape. Being an unrestored classic there are imperfections consistent with a car of it's age but overall in very nice condition. Comes with original wheels, rings and caps. And an additional set of wheels with new rings come with. I have all the original factory trim and rear view mirror. Clean title and collector plates. This is a rare survivor of this era. The question is, how many original Nova's with this rare combination are remaining? Reason I'm selling. I'm disabled, getting late in years and unable to drive it. I would like it to go to a good deserving home with a garage. Unfortunately I'm unable to take additional photos at the moment, but will do so when time permits.
