To the poster who wrote "Craig" about adding a few more snappy categories to post to, I hate to tell you this but there is no "Craig" of "Craigslist".
Craigslist is actually run by a multinational corporation hired by the CIA to drive Americans to the brink of insanity through constant bickering over grammatical errors, spelling mistakes and obtuse use of inane words like "obtuse" and "inane".
It was going to be called "Bobslist" (too plain), then "Alfredslist" (too "Batman-ish"), then they settled on "Franzlist" but it made people think it was a place for classical music fans. So they bought a book of lists which had a list of male names (knowing they couldn't attract anyone to an "Oprahslist" or "Tipperslist"), placed the list of names on a dart board and threw fecal matter at it until there was only one name NOT covered in sh*t. (This is known as the "Monty Python Spot The King" method.)
The name was "Cecil". Everyone knew that "Cecilslist" would sound too gay and make people with speech impediments embarassed, so they wiped off the next not-too-poopy name and it was "Craig". And there was a great rejoicing and bells were rung and a great feast was prepared...and on that day God and Man converged to make "CRAIGSLIST"!!!
So the next time you write directly to "Craig" remember we're watching you. And he's watching you, although he isn't really there, but a guy we thought might pass for a "Craig" is there and he's almost always watching you. Maybe.
