Since MC has become the dumping ground of CL, I propose the creation of a few new categories for the personals section.
Good Deeds Observed - Here you can give your shout-outs to people who hold doors open, let you change lanes or pay your rent.
Good Deeds Wanted - Here you can tempt the fates to have others hold doors open, let you change lanes or pay your rent.
Sex for Money - Here you can shop around for a dizzying array of value-added STD possibilities.
Bitter Rantings - This category is for the recently dumped, ripped-off, unemployed, re-employed, Peet's emplyee, Peet's customer or angry white/black/asian/martian guy/girl/ferret to complain about stuff.
Sex for Nothin' - This category will be exclusively devoted to men posting ads wanting no-strings sex from women, men or inanimate objects. NOTE - his category will never be visited by women who are actually female.
Poetry Corner - Here is where all the frustrated poets can rehash song lyrics, Robert Frost snippets and Japanese ad copy to their heart's desire.
Unfortunate Connections - This category will be used solely to alert other CL readers to the dangers of Dog-napper, Gorgeous Guy, Herpes-Girl and other miscreants posing as respectable members of society.
Of course, this will require a whole new set of flagging possibilities such as:
"This posting is stupid"
"Poster is a lunk-head"
"I know they are but what am I?"
"I wish I had thought of that one first"
and of course...
"Help, my ass is stuck in my chair and I can't get up."
