The Humpty Dance Big Head

According to those in the know, the large head stored in the garage of [an Oakland studio] was supposedly used in the "The Humpty Dance" video produced by Digital Underground. I believe it was also used as a prop, probably during shows and concerts, as it is big enough to be a float in the parade and built with storage for stage movement.

"The Humpty Dance" was a crossover club hit and received much critical acclaim. It was named the 72nd best song of 1980-2005 by Blender Magazine, and one of the 100 best rap singles by The Source in 1998.

Though somewhat sooty now, we'll hose it off for you, once it's outside the garage, but you'll need to find a way to transport it to its new home.

Best offer accepted for this piece of music history, from one of O'Town's premier parliament-funkedelic rap groups, whose members have included notables such as 2Pac/Tupac Shakur and Shock G; and catapulted acts such as Luniz, Mystic, Saafir, and others into the limelight.
