As usual I was reading CL and thinking to myself that a majority of the posts have got to be fakes or lame attempts to push some buttons.
Unfortunately, I know that I'm wrong.
The sad truth is that the world(not just NY)is so full of misguided idiot assholes that have no interest in learning anything beyond what they already believe to be true.
What ever happened to hearing what someone has to say and trying to understand it a little, even if you don't agree?
One example that's fresh in my mind is how most men think it's "awesome" to watch two woman "get it on", but think that watching two men is just disgusting, and anyone who disagrees is a "fag".

While I personally don't enjoy watching two men fuck, I could sit there and watch it and not be bothered by it.
I can also sit and watch two woman and not be bothered OR even turned on by it.
Woman on woman is no more "natural" than a man fucking a man.
It's just sex.
I think it's kinda boring watching two fake-ass silicone titted bleach blondes pretending that they're hot for eachother.

Regardless though, the point is that it's getting old listening to a bunch of "Timmys" acting like there is something wrong with what other people like if they don't like it.
I'm sure these are the same guys that wonder why they can't find a "really cool chick", that doesn't mind that they wanna play video games all night and watch some wrestling, knocking back a sixer while they're in the kitchen shaving their pussies.
But hey, if that's what makes you happy, then go for it, just don't expect anyone else to put up with it when they have better things to do.

Why is it that everyone has to take a clearly defined side and root for their man.

Clinton, Bush Sr., Reagan, all of them were liars as well.

Why the fuck do you need to be defined as a liberal or conservative, or any of it?
Seriously, why can't you have an opinion that defies party lines?
I know, because you can't turn off your fucking tv for long enough to have an opinion of your own.

Alot of it makes sense. Hell, some of it sounds downright perfect.
Except for the fact that it's probably just some spin that you read or heard in your news source of choice.
Read all of it, make your own decisions, but most important of all, be fucking honest with yourself no matter how much it hurts your fragile little ego.
Personally, I can't even look at Bush without wanting to punch him in his runty little face, but I can still admit that he's not the anti-christ.
He's a politician(albeit a bad one)and they're all the same.
And no matter who's in office, they're gonna do the bare minimum of work they have to do for the people, while making sure that they take care of the people that got them there.
The Clintons are fucks, Kerry's a fuck, they're all assholes and you'd probably be shocked to know what most of them really think about you.
Or how little they think of you at all.
In the meantime, keep bickering amongst yourselves about trivial shit while they all keep on doing their thing.

Do you really think it's that shaved pussy, or that SUV?

Read a fucking book, take your kids to a park.

Instead of watching a football game, why don't you learn how to do something that you always wanted to do?
Learn how to re-build an engine, sew yourself some new pants, plant a garden and eat fresh vegetables.
Do anything, but for fucks sake, turn off the tv for a while.
Sometimes I wonder if everyone knows that it's all bullshit, but they're just afraid of what will happen if they stop leting themselves be brainwashed.
Maybe they'd realize that it all means nothing.

Why can't it just say "Bob"?
Maybe we have too much information at out disposal.
A never ending supply of useless crap to help us all define who we think we want to be.
An endless supply of "entertainment" to help us all forget that there is no point to life, or anything else that we're supposed to do to keep this American dream floating.
