We are seeking dedicated and ambitious Canvassers to join our team.
As a Canvasser, you will be responsible for engaging with the public and supporters to promote our organization and its mission.
This role requires good communication skills, a strong work ethic, the ability to work independently, must be able to discuss complex issues!
Responsibilities:
- Conduct door-to-door canvassing, using an app on your smartphone and your own reliable transpiration.
- Communicate with the public in a friendly and professional manner while encouraging them to take a 2-3 question survey, and to ask for their support
- Manage time efficiently to meet canvassing goals, deadlines, and expectations
- Maintain accurate records of canvassing activities through an app provided.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in door-to-door canvassing (we will train you if you are a beginner - no experience necessary!)
- Your own reliable smart phone with data and transportation are REQUIRED.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Bilingual or multilingual skills a plus, but not required.
- Experience with marketing or customer service is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
