My partner (30m) and myself (33f) are looking for a full HOUSE (no shared units) or a townhouse (if it is the right fit) in Calgary for NOVEMBER 1st. Ideally 1.5 bathrooms (if there are more that's amazing), a finished basement, and a fenced yard (does not need to be huge). Max rent $3000/month but ideally under as utilities for a full home in the winter are pricey. MUST BE PET FRIENDLY! I am a licensed individual in the veterinary industry and my dogs are my entire life and mean everything to me. Both my partner and I have been living in our current units for the last 8 and 7.5 years respectively. We are moving as my landlord is currently in the process of selling my beloved home in Bridgeland. I could not beat the location or price of my current unit which is why we have not moved before this. We are clean, quiet, non-smoking, homebodies who both work full time (I work shift work in the ER). We cannot move before November as that is when my partners lease is up. Unfortunately for the price that he pays and the lack of amenities in the building, it would be very difficult to find a lease takeover when there are much newer buildings with pools, two level gyms, restaurants, etc. with rental promotions on top of it. We are looking for a LONG TERM rental until we can hopefully afford a house of our own, which is a very long way off in this economy.
About our dogs:
- all of them are house trained
- we are respectful of other dog owners/people in the neighbourhood and cross the street to avoid any unwanted interactions
- we clean up after our dogs immediately both on walks and in the yard
- I am very aware of barking due to the industry that I work in and will be using extra anxiolytics for our anxious dog (Rosco) during the moving process to decrease stress during this period of change
1. Marshall - German Shepherd (45kg) - 7yrs old - Neutered (fixed) - sleeps 22 hours a day
2. Russet - Australian Cattle Dog (15kg) - 2.5yrs old - Neutered (fixed) - comes to work with me everyday and pretty much anywhere else, rarely left at home alone and when he is, he is kennelled
3. Rosco - Chihuahua Mix (6.5kg) - 7yrs old - Neutered (fixed) - kennelled when home alone
