These are Series 1923 $1 Silver Certificates, commonly nicknamed “horse blanket” notes because they’re much larger than modern U.S. currency. They are genuine collectible U.S. paper money with blue Treasury seals and blue serial numbers.

* Top bill: Very heavily circulated with tears, missing pieces, heavy folds, staining, and edge damage.
* Bottom bill: Also circulated, but noticeably better. It has strong creases but appears complete with no major pieces missing.
