Purchased new in Salem, Oregon, by its longtime original owner and accompanied by original Salem Mercedes dealer maintenance records, clean Carfax, original window sticker, service booklet, manuals, tools, jack, first-aid kit and full-size spare.
These pillarless C124 coupes were sold in limited numbers in the United States and are increasingly sought after in exceptionally original, low-mileage condition.
The car spent many years in indoor storage and was recently recommissioned with a new battery, five new tires and replacement of the engine oil, coolant, transmission fluid and differential fluid. It has since been driven her more than 500 trouble-free miles. The automatic transmission shifts exceptionally smoothly, the air conditioning blows cold and the electrical accessories operate. No dashboard lights.
The exterior and interior are remarkably preserved and substantially original. Paint looks shiny new. Factory chrome wheels, original radio and exceptionally clean leather and wood.

This is basically a straight OEM original C124 with the possible exception of the tires and battery. Folks sometimes inquire about the wiring harness and / or head gasket both of which are believed to be original OEM. Service Manager "Don" at Salem Dealership where originally purchased informed me that wiring harnesses are typically not an issue until or unless one "works on" the engine and begins disconnecting things. To my knowledge, this car has never needed a thing other than regular service, oil changes etc. Starts and drives like a dream!
Two sets of floor Mercedes floor mats: the dark gray / blackish mats on top have kept the OEM lighter gray mats below in impeccable condition (minus some of the backing coming off which I have commonly experienced on my other Mercedes)
I am offering this car below its national-auction potential ($19-28k) because I value a prompt local transaction. This is a Long-term Oregon original-owner history vehicle garage-kept its entire life acquired recently from its original purchaser who is personally known to me for over 20 years. (Company car converted to private ownership: same person although reflects on CARFAX as 2 Owners)
