Job Opportunity: Landscape Laborer (Seasonal)
Position Type: Temporary, Full-Time Seasonal
Duration: May 1, 2026 – December 15, 2026
Location: Report to work in Pittsburgh, PA. Work will take place across multiple counties including Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Fayette, Lawrence, Washington, and Westmoreland.
Duties & Responsibilities
Gather and remove vegetation, litter, and waste.
Operate hand tools such as saws, hoses, hedge trimmers, pruning saws, axes, and shovels.
Mix and spray fertilizers, herbicides, or insecticides using hand or automatic sprayers.
Apply mulch for plant protection.
Mow or edge vegetation using mowers or edgers.
Maintain sidewalks, parking lots, highways, campsites, and other lands.
Perform mowing, cutting, trimming, and treating vegetation species as required.
Plan and cultivate vegetation maintenance.
Maintain and repair tools, equipment, and properties related to landscaping activities.
Terms & Conditions
Employer complies with all applicable Federal, State, and local employment laws.
Standard wage: $18.69/hr; Overtime wage: $28.04/hr (1.5x regular rate for hours beyond 40 per week).
Wages paid weekly; deductions will be made as required by law.

Requirements
Proof of legal authority to work in the U.S.
Drug/Alcohol/Tobacco-free work zone.
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks: lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, handling, and carrying up to 50 lbs.
No minimum education required.
On-the-job training provided.
All tools, supplies, and equipment provided by employer.
Work Schedule
Standard: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM.
Overtime may be required depending on project needs, weather, and commute times.
Work is outdoors, often in variable weather conditions, including extreme heat or cold.
Transportation & Travel
Employer provides daily transportation between the main reporting address and worksites.
Inbound and outbound transportation reimbursement provided for workers traveling to/from the place of employment.
Subsistence allowance during travel: $16.28/day (up to $68/day with receipts).
Visa and related government fees reimbursed for H-2B workers (excluding passport costs).
Guarantee
Workers are guaranteed at least three-fourths (3/4’s) of the total work hours in each 12-week period.
Tools, equipment, and supplies provided at no cost.
Workers who voluntarily abandon employment are not entitled to outbound transportation or the 3/4’s guarantee.
