I have acreage 15 mins outside of town which is surrounded by forest. There are raised beds, a greenhouse, multiple flower and her gardens. The property is a mix of pasture, forest, seasonal creeks.
The available room ans bath are located in the main house. Lots of windows which look out into the forest. Wood floors, open beams, and wood panels on the walls. The room is smaller but has a classic nostalgic craftsman look. Bathroom is a shower/bath combo with lots of storage.
Full house and property privileges. Washer dryer, starlink internet. Rent includes utilities and is $600 a month. $600 deposit. Reduced rent may be available for someone who is able to help out with various tasks such as watching animals in the event I leave town.
Finding a roommate on craigslist is interesting to say the least. Tons of creepy men, weird women, and no shortage of time wasters. Being said, I did not post photos as last time I posted photos someone stole them and tried using them on Facebook. I'm just looking for normal, no drama, responsible, mature adult who is good at communication. Hopefully that isn't asking too much.
My ideal tenant would be late 20s-late 40s. There are lots of stairs, uneven terrain, and large dogs, so this property is not a fit for children, elderly, or anyone with impaired mobility. This property would be perfect for an artist, someone self employed or doesn't mind the commute, and who appreciates peaceful rural living. Bonus if you are into herbalism, organic gardening, yoga, meditation, music, and art.
Absolutely no drama, no hard drugs, no alcoholics, no passive aggressive weirdos. Be respectful. My home is my sanctuary anyone who lives here or visits will respect that. I say this after sifting through tons of messages from craigslist that are flat out shocking. Just be normal. Apologies for having to say this for the people ot doesn't apply to.
