We are looking for reliable individuals with experience in English transcription for a fully remote transcription project.
The work is straightforward: you will listen to English-language audio and transcribe exactly what you hear, including the use of specific tags and brackets to identify certain sounds, speaker actions, and other audio events. Detailed transcription guidelines will be provided.
Compensation: $75 USD per completed hour of audio.
Please note that one completed hour of audio may require approximately 6–8 hours of actual transcription work, depending on your experience, typing speed, audio difficulty, and familiarity with the guidelines. Payment is based on the number of completed audio hours, not the number of hours you spend working.
Payments are processed biweekly by either direct deposit or PayPal.
There is no set maximum on how much work you may complete; however, we are looking for people who can commit to approximately one completed audio hour per day, which may represent roughly 6–8 hours of actual work.
There may be a slight learning curve when you first begin, particularly when learning the required transcription tags and formatting rules. Accuracy and attention to detail are very important.

Previous transcription experience preferred
Ability to follow detailed transcription and formatting guidelines
Reliable computer and internet connection

Ability to work independently and meet daily productivity expectations
This is a fully remote position, so you may work from anywhere as long as you have the proper equipment and a quiet working environment.
