The common use of this item is that it allows you to use your WiFi/wireless/mobile device on your home WiFi/wireless network at a extended/greater distance.
The printed "Quick Start" guide is not included, however you may be able to acquire that from the netgear dot com /support web site (the owner's manual is offered only there - a printed version is not originally included with the product).
This item is functioning upon being boxed up for sale (see power up blue LED in one of the photos). This has had 1 owner and I have not experienced any problems with it's operation.
Please be aware that since I am just liquidating some extra items that I do not use - I do not want the item back for any reason whatsoever after the sale. For this reason, it is being sold "AS-IS" and there will be No Returns, No Refunds, and No Exchanges!
