This is an in-office position. Applicants must be able to commute to our office Monday through Friday. We are looking for someone with prior commercial drywall estimating experience who can start estimating projects with minimal training.
About Us:
Ossandeep Associates LLC is a commercial subcontractor specializing in drywall, metal framing, acoustical ceilings, and paint. We work on projects throughout DC, MD, VA, PA, NJ, NC, and DE, including hotels, apartment buildings, grocery stores, retail spaces, healthcare facilities, schools, and other commercial projects.
Responsibilities:
Review plans, specifications, and bid documents.
Perform quantity takeoffs for drywall, metal framing, acoustical ceilings, and paint.
Prepare complete and accurate estimates.
Request and review material quotes from suppliers.
Communicate with general contractors regarding bid questions.
Track bids and maintain estimating records.
Prepare submittals after project award.
Work closely with the estimating and project management team.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of commercial drywall estimating experience (Required).
Experience estimating commercial drywall and metal framing projects.
Ability to read architectural drawings and specifications.
Experience bidding projects in the commercial construction industry.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Excel.
Ability to manage multiple bids and meet deadlines.
Reliable transportation to our office in Damascus, MD.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday
Some Saturdays may be required during busy periods.
