My brother bought these new when he lived in Chicago for a few years. They are authentic vintage FIAM Italia folding reclining lounge chair with a rare matching ottoman, manufactured in Italy.
Because FIAM is an iconic Italian outdoor/lounging brand (and these recliners are often collected or kept for decades rather than frequently resold on eBay in the US), active listings for the full chair + ottoman set can be rare.
This iconic 1990s modern outdoor design features a sturdy tubular steel frame, breathable black woven mesh support, and removable, padded black 100% cotton cushion covers. The chair offers multiple reclining angles and both pieces fold flat for compact storage or easy transport. Distributed originally by Wholesale Merchandisers Inc. (Grand Rapids, MI). Use for balcony or motor home camping.

Condition: Great vintage pre-owned condition. The frame mechanism adjusts smoothly and folds completely flat. Steel tubing and mesh support are structurally sound with no tears or breaks. The original "FIAM Made in Italy" decal is present on the frame. The cotton cushion covers show light, normal wear consistent with age and storage, but remain clean, intact, and comfortable. Stored in plastic in mom’s basement; would benefit from a quick wipe-down or freshening up to remove minor surface dust.
Folds completely flat for simple shipping or storage.
