Antique Chinese Carved Wood Panel - $95 (Turtle River, MN)

Originally part of a larger assembly, as evidenced by the tenons on the sides.
Likely from the late 19th to early 20th century.
Features ten (10) carved and pierced inset panels with gilt paint accents.
The subject includes figures in outdoor settings in a traditional Chinese folk-art style.
Mortise and tenon construction.
Period metal hardware at top.
Size: Approx. 1.25” thick x 18.75” wide (+ tenons) x 35.5” high.
Overall very good condition. General wear and scattered losses to paint consistent with age. The whole panel is bowed. There is some shrinkage of panels but all joints are solid, quite sturdy.
