Looking for volunteers for a history project. James Knapp was a Black musician and area resident. He is buried at Albany Rural Cemetery. He died poor and of tuberculosis at 41 in 1885. A few people would like to get a head stone for him and would love to have your support. We expect to meet a few times and plan a strategy to raise funds for the headstone.
