He answered my post.
His pic I must say
Was better than most.

The men of Craig’s List,
So many are fine.
But this was a man
Who’s truly divine.

His face was so perfect.
His chest was quite ripped.
And below it was clear
This man was equipped.

His ID said Chester,
And I thought, as IF,
For this pic showed someone
Whose name must be Biff.

He’s made lots of money.
He works for VCs
On Sand Hill Road.
And I thought, PUH-lease!

He hikes and he bikes.
He bathes in the sun.
And moonlights sometimes
As a model for fun.

An obvious liar,
I thought - what a rat!
Oh, yes, I deleted
His pic just like that.

Then opened my mail
And guess what I found!
My eyes popped open,
My jaw hit the ground!

For there was sweet Chester
Posed with a dog
On page 23 of
Macy’s catalog!

How could I have known
His story was true?
Oh catalog boy,
I LOVE YOU!
