One of my roommates brought home a George Foreman grill last week. I'd heard rumors about the grill, but nothing prepared me for the pure joy and wonders of this marvelous invention! It cooks my steak in just minutes and --get this-- it traps the grease inside, leaving you with healthier meat! And you can clean it with a paper napkin!!! It's more than a grill, it's like a little buddy. The first time I used it I called in sick to work later that day because I wanted to bring a friend over and cook salmon fillets. The fillets turned out perfect, crispy on the outside, fall-off-your-fork tender on the inside ...and no mess! Last night I had a confrontation with my roommate cuz he couldn't find his grill because it was sitting on the sofa next to me as I watched TV. I wasn't personifying the thing --after all it's just a grill-- but I felt secure looking over during commercial breaks and seeing the thing just waiting there patiently to be used and to bring someone joy. Thank you, Mr. Foreman, oh ty ty ty there is now a rumble in my inner jungle!
