This backpack is 10 years but it was used ONCE, on a single 5-day trip on Mt. Hood. I have kept it stored all this time and am finally just admitting that I will probably not go on anymore trips, even though I held out for a change of heart for a pretty long time.
This is a beautiful and VERY comfortable external frame pack (size medium), meaning 3175 cu in., weighs 4 lbs. 10 oz. If you strap your sleeping bag onto the frame it adds another 2000 or so cu in.
It is sized for a woman (narrower) and with the waist belt more flared. Tons of features, one large and two small outer side pockets, large front pocket plus zipper access to the bottom of the large compartment (very cool).
Curved EVA foam shoulder straps with width adjustments and load-lifter straps
Full-wrap waist belt with side stablizer straps
Mesh back band for superior ventilation
