Well there's a better solution and I'll be glad to sell it to you. It's a folding wooden clothing valet with a little tray for your pocket effects -- wallet, earrings, glasses, keys, Swiss army knife -- all that stuff. It lets you hang your suit jackets and pants up without getting hanger creases. It's no work of art, but it is in excellent condition, I'm selling because I moved and no longer have room for it (so my door knobs, chair backs, etc., are once again having to suffice).
I looked forever before I found one I could afford -- I think most of them were in the $100+ price range. Purchased a year ago at Bed Bath & Beyond in San Diego.
