Thanks to all who replied. The Virgin Mary has gone to her new home in NH where she should be very happy with Ed and family. We were amazed and amused by the many responses!
We just bought a house in Somerville and it has one of those display boxes outside, in the front yard, with a statue of the Virgin Mary. About three feet high. Well, we are Jewish so she has to go. Come and get her, she's all yours.
