Instead of drinking we could watch all 5 star wars movies instead. Now, might be a dork but usually not this bad. But I like star wars and a cute girl was coming; so sure.

I am driving home with my friends in the car and we get pulled over. The typical tough-guy, straight from the marines, cop walks over. Asks if I was drinking. "No, why are you pulling me over" It was a fair question. I wasn't speeding or do anything wrong... except for drive at 2am on New Years Eve, of course."You were speeding" He lies. So instead of getting mad, I make a joke. I forgot cops dont have a sense of humor.
"We were not speeding, we can go on our way" I say in my best Obiwan Kenobi voice as I waive my hand past his face in the window. With cat-like reflexes, this cop snatches my arm and starts to drag me out the window.
Now, I did the whole Obiwan imitation perfect. It should have worked. I had the voice, confidence, and hand move to the T (shit it is straight out of the first movie). Here's the difference and why that Cop got so mad. When Obiwan does this move in the movie, R2D2 and Luke Skywalker aren't rolling around in the speeder laughing. Had they been, that Storm Trooper would have shot somebody.
"How you like the force now, yoda?" The cop jokes as crams my face into trunk car as he applies the handcuffs tight enough to make my fingers sausage. (and I thought they didnt have a sense of humor)
At this point, my friends (R2D2 and Luke) have to roll the window down because they are hyperventilating from laughing so hard. Actually they are not even laughing. I can just see their faces in the back of car gasping for air in long whiny hauls as their faces mouths open, bright red, with tears coming down, try to laugh but do not have air in their lungs to further squeal.
I get out of jail this morning. With my outstanding warrant for not paying a fine I thought they forgot about (Luke and R2 Arent good for bail) I spent the last 2 weeks in Middleton. Oh yea, I picked up a whole bunch of new charges I didn’t knew even existed. 2004 is going be much better.
