SOFTWARE TEST AUTOMATION ENGINEER<br>

The ideal candidate will have a B.S., M.S. or Ph.D. in engineering, computer science, physics or related fields with several years of software development or test automation experience. Some experience using complex instrumentation and optical set-ups in a biotech environment would be advantageous. He or she will be working in a fast-paced start-up, interacting with scientists and design engineers from a variety of backgrounds. <br>
The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of the SW features and algorithms used in our products by developing, maintaining, executing, and debugging automated integration and regression tests. He or she will work closely with the software and integration/verification engineers to define specifications, develop test plans and procedures, and implement automated tests based on these documents. <br>
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills will be required, and will be applied to debugging test failures, reporting bugs, and finding the root cause of application bugs. The candidate must be a strong team player, able to take initiative, detail oriented, and able to work effectively as part of a team. <br>

- Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, physics or related fields. <br>

Your job will include the test and verification of a variety of government and consumer-facing web applications as well as the devices and software that acquires and processes that data. Since our system spans embedded sensor hardware, networking equipment, and signal processing all the way up to web and mobile user applications, this position calls for very strong systems thinking, technical breadth and creative innovations well beyond the typical web or desktop application. You will be given significant responsibility to define the test approach for the entire company, and we expect this job to grow into a leadership position.<br>
