Publicist Internship

This is a perfect opportunity for someone looking to gain real world work experience and have an active role in promoting and securing publicity for a newly produced reel about Terry Mulrooney.

Who he is:

Terry is the owner and chief landscape architect of Admiral Green Landscaping (www.admiralgreen.com) is a San Francisco based boutique landscape design/build firm. Terry started Admiral Green Landscaping over 20 years ago and has designed projects as far away as Japan, Spain and Zimbabwe. The work of Terry and the Admiral Green team is featured regularly in "Sunset Magazine" and on HGTV's "Curb Appeal", "Landscape Smart" as well as BBC productions TLC. Terry -- a solo mountaineer, surfer, and outdoor -- enthusiast has also attracted the country’s attention when he appeared on “What Not to Wear” and has been featured in Surfer’s Journal.

Job requirements:

Candidates should have strong written and oral English and communication skills, with education or work experience in public relations. Work may include contacting, emailing, calling, and faxing existing media companies and connections, and also to contact and form relationships with new media outlets. Interns may write promotional materials and press reports and select media for our website, as well as for our clientele. The intern will be expected to produce presentable, professional, and attractive work that is ready for presentation to clients.


This is a not a paid position. However, your services will be acknowledged in all of the publications, press releases and events.

The days and time of the work will vary with the clientele and is flexible within the company.
