A new and up coming lifestyle, night life, entertainment, and fashion magazine is looking for a Web Developer.



The Web Developer will work on the maintenance and development of several corporate Websites and mini-sites. The ability to take approved designs and develop CSS layouts from PhotoShop templates is required. The Web Developer will also be responsible for creating email schedules for regularly scheduled customer communications and will build emails using best email coding practices and standard Web application tools. Create Web pages from images and pre-existing templates as well as implementing basic interactive functionality enhancements will be needed.

Qualifications

BA/BS in a related field
Hands on, advanced, experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and other, standard, front-end Web development technologies
Working knowledge of Flash and ActionScript is required
Hands on PhotoShop CS experience with the ability to manipulate images and create new Web graphics as needed
Experience with Dreamweaver or similar software
Aware of best email coding practices. Experience creating editorial and/or marketing emails for corporate entities is a plus
Experience in writing and maintaining schedules for posting Website content and email processes
Knowledge of or hands on experience in higher-end Web programming (.NET, Ajax, and MS SQL) is a plus
Ability to multitask and follow through on small and large Web development projects
Experience maintaining and/or building corporate Websites is a plus
Ability to work well with others as well as independently
Excellent communication skills
