Specific Responsibilities<br>
We are looking for someone with proven leadership skills and the ability to grow and manage an office, while producing the highest quality professional product possible. <br>

The right candidate must be able to train and mentor staff in all facets of estimating procedure and methodology, review estimates, and manage the workflow of the estimating staff. Must also be able to prepare and review conceptual estimates on multi-million/billion dollar projects using past experience, historical data, and parametric estimating norms. Must be able to assess risk and adjust prices accordingly; as well as advise our clients on risk mitigation, value engineering, market trends and otherwise act as our clients’ cost advisor. Must be able and willing to assist marketing department in business development activities. <br>
<br>
Outstanding communication and presentation skills, superior technical expertise in all types of estimates, and ability to manage the workflow and profitability of estimating teams are required for this position.  Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Construction Management or Chartered Q.S., minimum of 10 years related experience in large institutional projects and a strong knowledge of MS Excel is required. Industry specific certification (CPE, PMP, CCE or similar), current knowledge of the California construction market, project management and/or claims analysis experience a plus.<br>

A DAY ON THE JOB

•	Perform and manage field work for remedial investigations, including supervision of subcontractor trenching, drilling, sampling and well installation and preparation of detailed lithologic logs

•	Design, manage and perform remedial pilot tests, including pump tests 
<br>

•	Analyze analytical, geochemical, lithologic and hydraulic data; perform fate and transport modeling and develop conceptual site models 
<br>

•	Write and manage tasks associated with work plans and reports for remedial investigations and pilot tests per EPA RI/FS and other state and local guidance  
<br>

•	Prepare and make oral presentations to clients and regulators

QUALIFICATIONS

•	6 to 12 years experience required in the environmental consulting field

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Operate and troubleshoot analytical instrumentation consisting of optics, electronics, fluid handling, pneumatics, thermal cycling and refrigeration.

* Generate software scripts (XML) to control above instruments

* Design and develop instrument components and systems using Solidworks and other relevant design tools.

* Conduct POP (proof of principle) activities to retire technical risks

SPECIFIC SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

* Hands-on experience with Instrumentation

* Proficient in the use of Solidworks

* Previous product development experience required

* Experience in using Life Cycle Process for product development
