Block Accounts with craigslist
What is a "block account"?
Block accounts are a way for companies or organizations that post jobs frequently with craigslist to get a price break.
Purchasing a "block" of job postings in advance will give you a significant savings on your postings.
How does it work?
Basically once you request a block of postings you will be sent an invoice, the amount depending upon what size block you decide on. Your account will immediately be credited with the number of postings you've purchased and the balance will be shown each time you log in to your account. Each job post that you submit will be deducted from this balance until it reaches zero. You have an unlimited amount of time to use the block and it is not subject to any price increases that may occur before the balance of your block has been fully used.

A few things to know about block accounts:
- Savings correspond to the size of the block purchased
- Payment for block purchases must be made in advance
- There is no time limit for the usage of your block
- One deduction from your block equals one job posted in one category
- As you use your block the balance of postings will be visible each time that you log into your account
- Once you have purchased a block it is not subject to any price increases that occur before the balance reaches zero.
