I have a fairly full head of black hair but of late
I've noticed a distressing number of gray hair strands
coming out. I don't want to go the hair-dying route because
that's a trap. I instead want the offending gray hair
strands just snipped out near the hair follicle root.

I probably have no more than a 100 gray hair strands.
The job should take no more than an hour. I will
pay $40/hr with a minimum of $40.
